Hotel Plans $60-Million Expansion and Renovation
Resorts Casino
Hotel is planning to undergo $60
million worth of renovations and
expansions in Atlantic City. The
previously announced $35-million
Margaritaville project featuring the
Landshark Bar & Grill, the It’s 5
O’Clock Somewhere bar and the
Magaritaville Casino is scheduled to
open in May on Memorial Day weekend.
In addition, the
casino announces it will be spending
$25 million to renovate hotel rooms
by the first half of 2013. The
renovations include new bathrooms in
the Ocean Tower, the recarpeting of
the casino floor, the addition of a
food court and improvements to the
parking garage. A new VIP players’
club is scheduled to open at the
casino on January 10th.
