Business Assistance & Financing

This seminar will explain the various types of financing, marketing, managerial and other assistance available to small business owners in New Jersey. Officials with the NJ Economic Development Authority (EDA), US Small Business Administration (SBA), Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) and UCEDC will explain where to go for financing, how to get help in operating your business, and who to contact to get practical advice and answers to your questions.

HR101: An Employment Law and HR Primer

This half-day seminar will provide an overview of fundamental HR topics including preventing discrimination, wage and hour rules, making reasonable accommodations, hiring and firing procedures and leaves of absence. Practical advice will also be offered on ways to effectively deal with internal complaints and other issues with employees.
