| The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) will hold its 15th Annual Business Growth & Procurement Conference will be on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Pines Manor in Edison, NJ. The focus of the conference is to make women- and minority-owned businesses aware of business opportunities with major corporations, the government and other like-minded businesses. The State of New Jersey, as well as many corporations award 23 percent of its contracts to women- and minority-owned businesses. This presents tremendous opportunities for growth for businesses that qualify. The theme of this year’s conference is "Identify Your Missing Piece." According to Elsa Reinhardt, the conference committee chair, “Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to enrich and enhance their business. Numerous interactive workshops will be presented on the three key areas to business success: Growth, Money and Accounting, and Marketing.” Professionals will have the opportunity to participate in two roundtable discussions facilitated by industry leaders. Topics will include everything from forming strategic alliances to business development, cash flow management, financing, as well as the power of public relations and social media. Visit www.njawbo.org to register to attend or exhibit at the 15th Annual Business Growth & Procurement Conference. A 10% discount is offered to all attendees and exhibitors that register by January 31, 2013.
