| The Somerset County Business Partnership Technology Special Interest Group (Tech-SIG) will offer the business community the opportunity to participate from the comfort of their office in a conference call focused on “Business Continuity Solutions Post Sandy.” The call is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. The session will be moderated by members of the Tech-Sig committee and will focus on business continuity solutions that have been implemented at the Business Partnership since Hurricane Sandy; solutions for line-of-business apps; and the status of the Business Partnership initiative to assure availability. The Tech-SIG committee is dedicated to the education of the business community on the direction of technology and how it can impact business and increase efficiency and profitability. Among the issues to be discussed are the marketing value if social media; is ROI the correct metric for evaluating effectiveness of social media; and how best to use the new timeline layout.
