NESEA Sustainability Workshops
Date: Wednesday, March 03, 2010
Time: 9:00 AM Eastern
Location: Trump Plaza Hotel, Atlantic City
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association's (NESEA) sustainability workshop series serves professionals by broadening their knowledge on a wide range of critical topics that focus on three core elements: sustainable solutions, proven results and cutting-edge development in the field. Education credits are available for all workshops. The workshops in New Jersey are affiliated with the ACI New Jersey Home Performance Conference.

The day includes the Introduction to Photovoltaics workshop, instructed by Stephen M. Kurkoski. This course is appropriate for people who are exploring a career in the photovoltaic industry, professionals seeking technical development, or simply those having a personal interest in learning about photovoltaic systems. Topics will include basic electrical theory, the history of photovoltaics, current markets and industry status.

The day also includes the Residential Retrofits for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability workshop, instructed by Larry Harmon. The workshop includes a detailed review of air sealing and insulation techniques designed to significantly reduce energy consumption in existing buildings. This full day workshop continues to be the most popular at NESEA for the last four years.

The fee for each workshop is $295, and runs from 9:00am-5:00pm. NESEA members receive a $25 discount off fees. To register, visit www.nesea.org. Registration is limited and is taken on a first come first serve basis.
